The admissions for management program are completed as per the guidelines given by DTE- Maharashtra and other national level entrance examinations. Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted by DTE, other national level examinations like CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA etc. scorecards are used for the admission process. The results of entrance examination are declared by state and national level agencies followed by admission through Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds.

Admission process for Foreign Nationals/PIO/CIWGC For MBA the new process of admission by Government of Maharashtra State is as follows.

The details of which are as under:

  1. The admission process normally starts in 1st week of June every year after the declaration of 10+2 results.
  2. For admission to MIT Pune you will have to apply online at (the website of Director of Technical Education) under this website you are required to fill in the form online with all the necessary details. Please fill the online form with all relevant details as prescribed in hand. Blank spaces are not allowed. It is mandatory to register to the above mentioned website to have a State Merit Number.
  3. You have to scan and upload the relevant documents as mentioned on the website.
  4. The details regarding date for uploading the form and submission of form and documents with scrutiny will be mentioned on the website. It must be followed in letter and spirit.
  5. You are also required to submit the actual hardcopies of the relevant documents to the Government College of Engineering, Pune for physical scrutiny on the specific date and time.
  6. The Government College of Engineering, Pune will assign a STATE MERIT NUMBER to the candidate who has applied for the said admission to any of the professional courses.
  7. After you get the MERIT NUMBER you are required to report to the COLLEGE OF YOUR CHOICE for applying to get admission to specific program of learning desired by you.

Financial Aid: General

We allow grace period, in case any student is not able to pay fees in given time period.
After the expiry of grace period, a notice shall be posted to your permanent address, allowing you another period of grace. Failing to report in the next grace period, your admission considers as cancelled.
Students enrolled for MBA and MCA programs are expected to have minimum of 75-80% of class room attendance and hence, are not allowed to work and study at the same time.
Students of PGDBM are allowed to work and study as the same time.
Students enrolled at MIT School of Management can receive only one financial aid. No student can apply and receive additional outside financial aid.
Any student who receive outside financial aid has to report in MIT School of Management’s office and follow the procedures to avail the financial aid.


The Placement is not an “End of Course” activity and the institutional effort needs to begin at the entry level of the students by way of making them aware of what the industry would expect from them after they join their professional careers as trained managers, and should continue through their academic tenure till creating placement opportunities for them from corporate of high repute.

The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art physical, communication and computing infrastructure to facilitate a smooth placement process. Computing facilities, projection facilities for multimedia presentations; telecommunication facilities for teleconferencing and video-conferencing; seminar rooms and presentation halls for presentations/workshops are available.

  1. Students with backlog in the 1st year which has not been cleared.
  2. Students involved in disciplinary action such as e.g. – cheating, copying, disruption of academic process, individual behavior etc...
  3. Fees are overdue.
  4. Students that are put on ‘Placement Hold’ or ‘Placement Debar’ provision for a specific period.
The placement record for the every year is witnessing a good growth. The highest package for National Level placement last year was Rs. 9 Lacs and for International Placement was Rs. 26 Lacs. The average package was Rs. 5 Lacs.
